Full Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Customer Solutions Director - BOS Services (MS-IT & ADM) to lead service-led BOS opportunities across Market Area Americas. This senior individual contributor role focuses on managed services for IT (MS-IT), Application Development & Maintenance (ADM), and broader BOS services-based solutions. The primary goal is to shape and position service offerings, support complex deal pursuits, and drive value-based selling of BOS services that deliver measurable business outcomes for our customers.

The role will engage across one or more of the following strategic areas: Autonomous Networks, Intent-Driven BSS and Monetization, Core Commerce, Services and Autonomous Operations, and AI and Analytics, with a strong emphasis on service delivery models, SLAs, and operational transformation. This position reports to the Head of Americas BOS PreSales and works closely with Customer Units, Client Executives, Service Delivery, and BOS domain teams to drive high-quality, services-centric engagements throughout the sales cycle. The work location is flexible within the US on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of 60% in-office presence in line with company and Market Area norms; final placement will be determined during the hiring process.

What you will do:

  • Partner with regional Customer Units, account teams, BOS Client Executives, and Service Delivery organizations to identify and qualify MS-IT and ADM opportunities in the BOS domain
  • Lead the solutioning of complex BOS service deals, including scope definition, delivery model, SLA/OLA design, governance structures, and transition/transform plans
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and workshops that articulate BOS services offerings (MS-IT, ADM, and related services), delivery capabilities, and operational benefits
  • Own and coordinate responses to services-focused RFPs/RFIs, including service catalogs, operating models, transition and transformation approaches, and risk/mitigation plans
  • Collaborate with MACS BOS domains and global services teams to design integrated solutions combining BOS platforms with MS-IT and ADM services
  • Translate customer operational, IT, and business requirements into end-to-end BOS service solutions that leverage automation, AI/analytics, and standardized delivery frameworks
  • Lead value-based selling by preparing clear services value propositions and customer-specific narratives, including business cases, TCO/ROI analyses, and outcome-based stories (e.g., cost optimization, operational efficiency, time-to-market)
  • Support commercial and contractual discussions in close collaboration with Sales and Commercial Management, ensuring services scope, responsibilities, and SLAs are clearly defined
  • Ensure sales readiness for BOS services by contributing to solution catalogs, reference models, case studies, and internal enablement for MS-IT and ADM offerings
  • Provide structured feedback from customer engagements to influence BOS services strategy, portfolio evolution, and industrialized delivery models
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customer operations, IT, and business leaders on BOS service transformation, managed services, and ADM modernization
  • Support handover to Service Delivery and operational teams, ensuring clarity on solution intent, KPIs, service levels, and governance


The skills you bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in the telecom software and/or IT services industry, with strong exposure to BSS/OSS and telco IT operations
  • Demonstrated experience in presales or solutioning roles for managed services, MS-IT, and/or ADM engagements with Tier-1 or Tier-2 Communications Service Providers
  • Solid understanding of managed services constructs, service-level management, ITIL-based processes, and application lifecycle management in a telco context
  • Strong understanding of telecom networks, IT systems, cloud-native architectures, AI/automation, and digital transformation, especially as they relate to service delivery and operations
  • Proven track record supporting complex service deals, including RFP/RFI responses, due diligence, solution design, and customer workshops
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate BOS services, MS-IT, and ADM capabilities into clear, outcome-based business value
  • Strong commercial acumen and comfort working with sales and commercial teams on service pricing, baselines, business cases, and contractual constructs
  • Ability to build credibility and trusted relationships with customer IT, operations, and business stakeholders
  • Collaborative leadership style with experience working across cross-functional, multi-vendor, and geographically distributed teams
  • Experience in consulting or advisory roles (e.g., strategy, technology, or management consulting) with strong client-facing and problem-structuring skills
  • High level of ownership, initiative, and structured problem-solving skills in complex and dynamic environments
  • Passion for customer success, operational excellence, and long-term value creation through BOS service transformation
  • Prior experience with Ericsson BOS services portfolio, MS-IT, and ADM offerings or with leading telecom/IT service providers is desirable

The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan (STV ): Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date.
