Position Title: Customer Services Project Manager

Salary $133,182 - $150,144 / Year

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/Week

Summary of Duties: Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, budget, schedule, quality, and performance objectives are met. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management, providing regular updates and managing customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Identify, assign, and manage project resources, including engineering, field personnel, vendors, and 3rd party services. Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor/control 3rd party vendors to ensure contract adherence. Track project budget, schedule completion, and perform monthly revenue forecasting. Review and understand contractual obligations, manage change orders, and participate in vendor negotiations. Develop project execution plans like quality and testing plans, schedules, and risk registers. Implement recovery plans to address performance issues. Collaborate with internal/external teams and clients to develop site schedules, maintain client relationships, and provide feedback to improve project offerings. Project types include: Installation and commission, turnkey design-build, engineer, procure, construct (EPC), power system studies, maintenance outage testing and electrical system emergency response/disaster recovery, electrical retrofit managing teams of field service engineers as well as 3rd party suppliers, consultants, and contractors. Product types include: Low and medium voltage air insulated switchgear, medium voltage gas insulated switchgear and switches, air and liquid filled transformers, motor control center, medium voltage contractors, integrate e-house electrical solution systems, battery systems, electrical cable systems and busways, cable, connectors, and supporting systems. Up to 25% domestic travel required. Remote work permitted.

Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, Contracts Manager, Field Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, or an acceptable alternate occupation. The position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills: Direct Project Management experience within construction, including in electrical distribution; Experience presenting complex issues to multilevel audiences and communicating to internal and external stakeholders; Direct Project Management Experience: risk management, budget management, field personnel management, schedule management, financial reporting, change order negotiation, engineering drawing review, safety protocols, stakeholder management, project planning, and progress evaluations. The position requires four (4) years of experience with the following skills: Experience with design or installation of medium or low voltage distribution; Experience with datacenter construction projects. Up to 25% domestic travel required. Remote work permitted.
