Full Job Description
Team/Position Summary: The Retail Marketing & Strategy team empowers Nintendo of America's (NOA) sales teams and retail partners with strategic, business-critical guidance to effectively reach and influence consumers across in-store and online retail channels. Through impactful marketing and promotional planning, the team helps to elevate product awareness, strengthen brand affinity, and drive sales performance. The Customer Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development, management, and execution of marketing strategies and programs with retailers to drive business results. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES Execute National marketing programs as well as develops account specific initiatives. Works closely with sales leadership and retailers to develop account specific marketing plans that include but are not limited to: in-store Point-of-Purchase (POP) materials, advertising, promotions, merchandising, Retailer Ads (ROTO's), and retail.com. Influence the sales and marketing initiatives and brand messaging by bridging the internal business vision with the strategic goals established for each retail partner. Execute and customize marketing strategy for designated accounts. Responsible for ensuring all retailers' .com sites are regularly updated and represent Nintendo Brand according to guidelines. Collaborates with Retail Marketing team on retail specific artwork and merchandising needs as well as external agencies for other forms of media. Own the development and management of tradeshow strategy and tactics. Partners with the Retail Marketing Managers on the development of the campaign launch plans for their specific retail accounts. Viewed as a cross-functional leader in relation to all account-specific programming. Responsible for owning account marketing relationship as it relates to the understanding of ongoing retailer specific marketing strategies. SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS Seven or more years related experience. Knowledge of retail marketing and consumer marketing. Dynamic presentation skills, including to retailer executives. Understanding of product promotion and brand management and the creation of marketing and promotional materials. Strong PC skills ( including Windows, Excel, Power Point, Photoshop). Project management or account management experience required, preferably with a large multi-channel retailer. Must have experience with a breadth of marketing tools including TV, radio, print, on-line, and interactive as well as experience working with top retail accounts. Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job family or field. Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, a related field or equivalent. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time. This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off. Pay Range: $120,900-$217,650 USD
