Full Job Description

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

  • Enable customer success by providing high quality measurements and reducing measurement variability.
  • Use analytical skills to troubleshoot issues based on metrology results.
  • Document results and make presentations on all aspects of products.
  • Develop models for advanced films and optical CD measurements in semiconductor manufacturing and development, primarily using optical spectroscopy including spectroscopic ellipsometry and spectroscopic ellipsometry.
  • Assists sales and marketing staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional organizations including engineering, service, sales and marketing within KLA and with customer engineers.
  • Conduct new product introduction projects.
  • Provide escalation support to onsite field service engineer; leading and coordinating remote/local troubleshooting.
  • Perform experiments to characterize tool/subcomponent performance and develop recipes to model applications.
  • May require 20- 30% travelling and potential relocation to a different site.

Base Pay Range: $102,000.00 - $173,400.00 Annually

Primary Location: USA-OR-Hillsboro-Beaverton-KLA
