About the OpportunityDayforce Strategic Workforce Planning is looking for a Customer Deployment Consultant Sr to help build and scale the operating model for our Customer Deployment function.
Customer Deployment owns the customer journey between Sales and Engineering, bringing together implementation, onboarding, training, enablement, support, customer communications, product feedback, and continuous improvement. Because the function works across several parts of the business, this role requires someone who can connect the dots, bring structure to ambiguity, and turn evolving ideas into clear, scalable processes and materials.
You will work closely with the Customer Deployment Manager and Product Leadership as a strategic execution partner, helping translate priorities into action, create the materials required to support customers and internal teams, and ensure important initiatives move from concept to execution.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building polished presentations, writing clear documentation, designing processes, coordinating cross-functional work, and improving how customers experience the product.
What You'll Get to DoCustomer Deployment Content and Enablement- Create high-quality PowerPoint presentations for customer deployments, training sessions, executive updates, internal enablement, and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain onboarding materials, training decks, implementation guides, help centre articles, support documentation, process guides, and customer communications.
- Turn complex product, process, and technical concepts into clear and intuitive materials.
- Establish reusable templates and content standards that improve consistency across customer deployments.
Strategy, Operations, and Support- Work closely with the Customer Deployment Manager to translate strategic priorities into practical plans, deliverables, and operating rhythms.
- Help prioritize, organize, and advance cross-functional Customer Deployment initiatives.
- Prepare materials and recommendations for leadership discussions, product conversations, customer meetings, and operational reviews.
- Track key decisions, actions, dependencies, risks, and follow-ups across the Customer Deployment portfolio.
- Support the design and continued evolution of the Customer Deployment operating model.
Process Design and Customer Experience- Map and improve processes across implementation, onboarding, training, support, product adoption, and ongoing customer engagement.
- Identify recurring areas of customer friction and develop practical solutions to improve the experience.
- Create scalable processes that reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and help customers realize value more quickly.
- Help define how customer feedback and deployment insights should be collected, categorized, prioritized, and shared with relevant teams.
AI-Enabled Customer Experience Improvement- Drive the development of AI-powered capabilities that learn from customer questions, support interactions, deployment challenges, and product feedback to create smarter and more intuitive customer experiences.
- Use AI tools to summarize, categorize, and identify themes across customer interactions.
- Develop human-in-the-loop processes to review AI-generated insights and ensure appropriate quality, judgment, and control.
- Translate recurring customer needs into improved documentation, training, onboarding, support processes, and product recommendations.
- Explore opportunities to use AI to improve content creation, knowledge management, customer support, and internal decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Partner with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Support, Marketing, and Leadership.
- Gather input from subject matter experts and transform it into structured, audience-appropriate deliverables.
- Help improve communication and coordination between Customer Deployment and adjacent teams.
- Represent the customer perspective in conversations about product functionality, processes, enablement, and support.
Skills and Experience We Value- Approximately two to five years of experience in management consulting, technology consulting, strategy and operations, customer experience, implementation, or a similar role.
- Consulting experience is strongly preferred and may be required.
- Exceptional PowerPoint skills, including the ability to structure a story and create polished, executive-ready slides.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Experience creating client-facing deliverables, training materials, process documentation, or executive communications.
- Strong structured-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where processes and priorities continue to evolve.
- Ability to operate across multiple workstreams without losing attention to detail.
- Strong judgment and the ability to distinguish between what is urgent, important, and strategically valuable.
- Interest in technology, SaaS, AI, HR technology, workforce planning, or enterprise software.
- A proactive, hands-on mindset and a willingness to build materials and processes directly.
What Would Make You Stand Out- Experience with HR technology, workforce planning, enterprise SaaS, or digital transformation.
- Experience supporting a senior leader or operating in a Chief of Staff, Transformation Office, or Strategic Initiatives capacity.
- Familiarity with customer journey design, service design, process mapping, or operating model design.
- Experience with AI tools, automation, knowledge management, or AI-assisted customer support.
- Experience working with help centres, learning platforms, customer success tools, or support systems.
- Familiarity with change management, product operations, or customer enablement.
