Full Job Description
Hendrickson is searching for an Engineer to join their Current Products Team. This individual will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of assigned projects.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Manage all technical aspects of a major project and/or multiple smaller projects, utilizing the Product Planning and Development Procedure.
  • Designs, validates, provides test reports, and sign-off documents, and ensures production readiness.
  • Coordinates with CAD, FEA, and laboratory personnel and interfaces with other department in support of the above.
  • Coordinates the technical design and test aspects on projects with suppliers and customers.
  • Provides continuous improvement through employee development, process improvement, and elimination of waste. Helps to assure safety in the lab and office.
  • Other duties as assigned.


The successful candidate will possess:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in technical discipline required.
  • BSME/BSAgE/BS AeroE preferred.
  • 4-6 years of experience in vehicle structural design (preferable heavy or medium duty truck) with exposure to dynamic structural analysis, finite element analysis, fatigue analysis, and product design.
  • Demonstrated product innovation.
  • Electrical or brake experience a plus.
  • Exposure to or training in vehicle dynamics desirable.
  • Vibration and controls background desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a development project and meet deadlines.

In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the salary range for this position is $75K-105K annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, qualifications, and other job-related criteria. This pay range is provided to ensure transparency and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
