CT Technologist

Full-time / Hours rotate 7a-730p (12hr shifts) and 7a-530p (10hr shifts) / every other weekend / rotating holidays

Barberton campus

*Eligible for up to a $10,000 Hire on Incentive

Summary:
Operates Computerized Tomography and Radiologic equipment to produce Diagnostic C.T. Scans and diagnostic radiographs, under indirect supervision. Ensures all aspects of patients' records are processed properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner. Evaluates images with Radiologist, takes additional images as needed or requested. Assists with procedures of an invasive nature. Performs other assigned duties as training and skills allow.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Formal Education Required:
a. Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
b. Must be licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio.

2. Experience & Training Required:
a. One (1) year Radiology Technology experience preferred.
b. CT Registry preferred.

3. Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
a. Manual dexterity sufficient to calibrate and operate equipment, properly position patients, apply and adjust restraining devices and administer intravenous injections of contrast.
b. Ability to communicate verbally with patients, physicians and other hospital employees.
c. Ability to lift and position patients.
d. Successful completion of training to perform other radiology procedures.
e. Ability to utilize computer system and file system to facilitate patient records.
f. Ability to initiate CPR and (CPR Certification).
g. Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.

5. Level of Physical Demands:
a. Heavy: Exerts 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or ten to 20 pounds of force continuously to move objects.

$35.09/hr - $42.11/hr
The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members when determining offers. Please keep in mind that the range that is listed is the full base salary range. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical.
