What will you do?

- participate in the quantum safe program office

- coordinate with all technology pillars to drive adoption of quantum safe cryptography

- report on quantum safe adoption progress

- plan and execute workstreams within the quantum safe program

- Collaborate with cryptography governance team to maintain the cryptography governance framework

- Participate in creating and maintaining policies, procedures for the execution of the cryptography governance program.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams through execution of cryptography governance processes to ensure the compliance with relevant security standards.

- Conduct analysis of pertinent data and provide recommendations for governance workstreams and the mitigation of cryptographic compliance risks

- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements in cryptography, and provide guidance on their inclusion in the cryptographic standards

Must Have:

Strong Organization - Candidate needs to be well organized to enable timely access and sharing of information. Stay on top of deadlines and tasks, Collaborate effectively and make informed decisions with accurate data.

Strategic thinking - The ability to understand RBC's Cryptographic Strategy and make recommendations that align with its goals and objectives.

Risk management - Knowledge of risk management processes and a basic ability to identify, assess, and plan remediation of risks associated with cryptographic services governance operations.

Compliance - An understanding of relevant industry guidance related to cryptographic mechanisms and standards.

Communication and stakeholder engagement - Candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, executives, employees, and external parties.

Analytical and problem-solving skills - Adept in their ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform decision-making and solve complex problems.

Leadership and collaboration - Candidate will be required to work with others, build trust, and influence stakeholders to achieve cryptographic governance program objectives.

Policy development and implementation - Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures that support RBC's cryptographic governance practices.

Monitoring and reporting - The ability to track and report on cryptographic governance performance, including metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Adaptability and continuous learning - The ability to stay up-to-date with changing governance requirements, industry trends, and best practices.
