Job DescriptionACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIREDAs a Platform Development Engineer on Team Nyla, you will bring your technical creativity and operational expertise to drive platform development and identify novel mission opportunities through the platform. Working alongside a team of brilliant, ever-curious engineers and operations specialists, you will leverage your deep knowledge of tools and operational tradecraft to engineer tailored, high-performance solutions. The annual base salary range for this role is $160,000-$190,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required Skills- Platform Development: Proven experience supporting and advancing platform development, including identifying and creating new operational opportunities through the platform architecture.
- Tooling & Operational Tradecraft: Practical expertise leveraging tools, frameworks, and domain-specific tradecraft to engineer tailored software and technical solutions.
- Custom Solution Engineering: Ability to design, prototype, and deploy custom tools, capabilities, and scripts tailored to specific mission environments.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS
10+ years of professional experience in cyber operations, network analysis, or data engineering OR
High School Diploma / GED, PLUS
14+ years of specialized technical experience in lieu of a degree.
Desired SkillsPrior operational background as an
Exploitation Analyst (EA) and/or
Target Development Network Analyst (TDNA).
Experience with low-level platform development, microplugins, or specialized fingerprinting tools.
Active involvement in continuous learning, prototype development, or emerging tech exploration.
Outstanding communication skills with a team-first, collaborative mindset.
