Job Summary

The CRO Finance Business Partner serves as the strategic right-hand to the Business Unit Finance VP and a key partner to the CRO and Business Unit President. This role drives financial performance by ensuring accurate revenue forecasting, pipeline evaluation, and executive-level decision support. The position provides financial insights, streamlines processes, and ensures compliance with revenue recognition standards (ASC 606 / IFRS 15), supporting a data-driven and agile approach to revenue growth and business strategy.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Revenue Leadership
  • Lead revenue forecasting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with accounting rules.
  • Build and maintain revenue models reflecting operational drivers and contractual terms.
  • Provide insights into revenue performance, risks, and opportunities to guide business decisions.

CRO Partnership
  • Serve as trusted finance partner to the CRO on revenue, bookings, sales costs, and strategic initiatives.
  • Deliver financial reporting, KPI analysis, and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Sales Operations, and Product teams to evaluate pipeline health and revenue recognition impacts.

Revenue Accounting & Governance
  • Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards (ASC 606 / IFRS 15).
  • Maintain strong controls and governance around revenue processes and approvals.
  • Support audit readiness and integrity of revenue reporting.

Leadership, Communication & Execution
  • Communicate complex financial concepts clearly to executives.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple high-impact deliverables.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Represent Finance in cross-functional forums to embed financial considerations into strategic discussions.

Finance Operational Efficiencies
