Experienced CRNA, Full time hire:
  • $120,000 sign-on bonus - paid in full upon hire or tiered structure available


New Graduate CRNA, Full time hire:

Option 1:
  • $65,000 sign-on bonus paid in full upon hire
  • $1,800/ month loan repayment - capped at $64,800

Option 2:
  • $100,000 sign on bonus - paid in full upon hire or tiered structure available


Students in School, Full time hire:
  • $30,000 sign-on bonus paid in full upon hire
  • $1,500/month stipend while in school - capped at $54,000
  • $1,200/month loan repayment - capped at $43,300


**Up to $10,000 in relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates relocating 50+ miles to Craven, Jones, Onslow, or Carteret County.

**Full Time work commitment required

Job Summary: A CRNA is an advanced practice specialty within the profession of nursing responsible for giving total anesthesia care to patients requiring anesthesia services. CRNA practice includes pre-anesthetic evaluation and preparation, anesthesia induction, maintenance and emergency, post-anesthetic care, pain management, and responding to emergency situations related to airway management and cardia life support techniques.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Graduate of a nurse anesthesia education program accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) of Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs or its predecessor.
  • Current license as Registered Nurse by the North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON) or current compact state license.
  • Current recognition as a CRNA by NCBON. Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Certification/recertification by National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • Current privileges as a CRNA at CarolinaEast.
  • Insurable by an appropriate medical malpractice insurer for the limits required by this organization and state.
  • Demonstrates competency in the responsibilities specified in this job description and privileges.
