FTE:1.0_, Shift: Day_, Schedule: Day _Position SummaryThe Crisis Therapist plays a key role on the Behavioral Health team at MultiCare, providing crisis intervention and evaluation that meets the unique needs of consumers and their families. From performing interventions to making referrals for inpatient or outpatient care, your position will offer you the capacity to help individuals every day.
Responsibilities- You will manage the mental and emotional health of each consumer as needed in coordination with the allied providers
- You will complete risk assessments
- You will develop safety plans with consumers and their natural supports as needed
- You will screen and refer patients with drug and/or alcohol problems
- You will coordinate ongoing inpatient psychiatric care for voluntary patients
- You will determine the need and facilitate requests to the Designated Crisis Responder when an involuntary detainment evaluation is indicated
- You will represent MHS and Behavioral Healthcare to community groups or individuals representing health care or mental health services
Requirements- Master's degree in a related field
- A Mental Health Professional as defined within HB 1724 one of these higher credentials are held: Counselor Agency Affiliated Licensed, Marriage & Family Therap Assoc (LMFTA), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), SW Advanced Lic (LASW), SW Associate Advanced License (LSWAA), Mental Health Counselor Assoc (LMHCA), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC),SW Associate Advanced License (LSWAA), SW Advanced Lic (LASW), SW Assoc Independent Clinical Lic (LSWAIC), SW Independent Clinical Lic (LICSW)
- Previous Crisis experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights

Pay and Benefit ExpectationsWe provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $37.25 - $53.59 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
