This position strengthens operational consistency across programs while developing systems, processes, and partnerships that improve service delivery, organizational efficiency, and client outcomes.
The Crisis Engagement Manager exercises significant independent judgment while managing multiple priorities, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, monitoring operational performance, supporting regulatory compliance, overseeing administrative functions, and leading strategic projects. The role collaborates closely with program leadership to advance organizational goals, strengthen workforce capacity, improve operational effectiveness, and support continued program growth.
Essential ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership
- Partner with the Director to implement operational priorities across Crisis, Stabilization & Engagement Services.
- Coordinate cross-program initiatives that improve communication, workflow, efficiency, and service delivery.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate operational systems, policies, procedures, and standardized workflows.
- Monitor operational performance, staffing trends, and service utilization while providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Support implementation of new programs, grant initiatives, and strategic organizational priorities.
Workforce Development
- Coordinate workforce development initiatives, onboarding processes, internship programs, and student placements.
- Develop partnerships with colleges, universities, and workforce development organizations.
- Monitor credentialing, onboarding readiness, required training, and workforce metrics.
- Support recruitment, retention, succession planning, and internship-to-employment pathways.
Administrative Leadership
- Oversee administrative operations supporting the department.
- Coordinate leadership meetings, project management activities, documentation systems, and operational communications.
- Develop dashboards, templates, reporting tools, and tracking systems that improve efficiency.
- Supervise assigned administrative staff, including coaching, performance management, onboarding, scheduling, and professional development.
Financial and Grant Administration
- Coordinate purchasing, invoices, reimbursements, and operational expenditures.
- Monitor operational budgets and resource utilization.
- Support grant implementation, reporting, compliance, and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate designated grant-funded initiatives and special projects.
Compliance and Quality Improvement
- Support compliance with CARF, CCBHC, IDHS, HFS, CESSA, DBHR, HIPAA, grant, and organizational requirements.
- Coordinate audit readiness, accreditation activities, corrective action planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor performance indicators, outcome measures, and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Develop reporting systems that support leadership decision-making and regulatory compliance.
Community Engagement
- Build collaborative relationships with healthcare providers, educational institutions, community organizations, and external partners.
- Coordinate Client Advisory Council activities and support integration of client feedback into program improvement.
- Represent Trilogy during community meetings, outreach activities, workforce initiatives, and collaborative partnerships.
Operational Resources
- Coordinate fleet operations, equipment management, facilities needs, technology inventory, and operational readiness across supported programs.
- Ensure staff have the equipment, supplies, and operational resources necessary to effectively deliver services.
- Data and Performance Management
- Compile, analyze, and present operational and outcome data.
- Develop performance dashboards and tracking systems.
- Monitor documentation quality, operational performance, and program outcomes.
- Support data-informed decision-making across the department.
Qualifications- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
- LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, or eligibility to obtain licensure preferred.
- CRSS certification preferred.
- Three to five years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health operations, healthcare administration, workforce development, or program management.
- Experience with CARF, CCBHC, IDHS, DBHR, grant administration, or crisis services preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, operational priorities, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, electronic health records, and reporting systems.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and flexibility to support operational needs across multiple locations.
