THE WORKING CONDITIONS YOU CAN EXPECT:This position is based at the Department of Public Safety (DPS) Headquarters, located at 5700 East Tudor Road in East Anchorage. The facility offers ample on-site parking and is directly served by public transportation. Scenic paved trails and views of the Chugach Mountains surround the building.
You will work closely with the Deputy Bureau and other members of the management team who all work at the same location as well as with partner organizations both within and outside Alaska. Quarterly out-of-state travel is required to attend national conferences representing Alaska.

Special Note:As part of the examination process, an extensive background investigation, including a criminal record check and fingerprinting for conviction of felony crimes or serious misdemeanors will be performed.
