Full Job Description
Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the credit research department, aligning with the bank's overall objectives and risk appetite.
  • Produce comprehensive and actionable credit research reports, presentations, and market commentary for internal stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Present research findings and recommendations to various internal stakeholders and external parties as required.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in credit research, credit analysis, or investment research within a financial institution, rating agency, or asset management firm.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing credit research teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex credit concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Strong understanding of credit markets, macroeconomic factors, and regulatory environments affecting financial institutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and make sound credit judgments under pressure.
  • High degree of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
  • Required FINRA licenses
