This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and eager to build expertise in the private credit and leveraged finance markets.
You will play an integral role in monitoring corporate default activity and maintaining market-leading credit indices relied upon by investors across the industry. You'll develop a comprehensive understanding of corporate defaults and credit markets, while working alongside experienced professionals.
This role follows a cyclical workload, with busier periods around quarter-end and index rebalancing. Candidates should be comfortable working additional hours during peak periods while enjoying a more flexible and balanced schedule during quieter times. About the Job:- Monitor and analyze corporate default events across global credit markets.
- Track, gather, and review issuer and transaction information from public filings, news sources, and market participants.
- Maintain and update proprietary credit market indices with accuracy and timeliness.
- Support routine index maintenance, constituent reviews, and periodic rebalancing activities.
- Prepare reports, summaries, and supporting materials related to default activity.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure the integrity of market data.
- Communicate findings clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders and clients as needed.
- Contribute to process improvements and the ongoing development of our market-leading products
You will be successful in this role if you have:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in credit markets, leveraged finance, and private credit.
- Experience using the Bloomberg Terminal.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and market information.
- Professional presence with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus.

Salary Range:The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $94,500 to $125,000 Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
