Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in credit and collections
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Preferred experience in building materials distribution or construction industry
• Experience with lien and bond processes preferred
• Basic knowledge of accounting and finance
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Bectran is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Proactively promote profitable sales growth through secured transactions
• Assess and manage credit risk
• Extend credit to customers following company policies
• Monitor and update credit information for existing customers
• Manage accounts receivable portfolio with customer interactions and internal resources
• Negotiate and secure payment arrangements with delinquent accounts
• Minimize bad debt while maximizing profitable sales
• Provide management and corporate reporting
• Manage third party collections and legal processes for assigned accounts
