JOB DESCRIPTION

Want to be the growth partner to chart-topping podcasts like The Huberman Lab, Pod Save America and My Favorite Murder? Great! We’re looking for a Creator Success Specialist for Supercast.

Supercast powers premium subscriptions for the world’s top podcasts and creators. We help creators like Huberman Lab, This American Life, Peter Attia, and My Favorite Murder build direct relationships with their audiences and generate recurring revenue through exclusive content and community.

Following our recent acquisition by Red Seat Ventures (a Fox Corp. company), Supercast is entering a new phase of investment and expansion. Building on our success with podcast subscriptions, we’re evaluating a broader toolkit for podcast-first creators, as well as new ways for creators to engage and monetize their audiences.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Creator Success Specialist to help shape this next chapter, reporting to our Creator Success Lead. You’ll be responsible for onboarding VIP creators to make as much money as possible, as quickly as possible, as well as working with existing creators to break through ceilings. The foundation is set, with existing playbooks, a strong industry reputation, and a tight-knit team that is ready to support you every step of the way.

We believe the next generation of media companies will be creator-led, and our mission is to build the operating system for creator-led media businesses.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Onboard VIP podcasters by understanding their requirements, guiding them through a personalized launch plan and removing friction and ambiguity wherever possible.

  • Act as the growth strategist to VIP podcasters, a key person on their team who maximizes their earnings by proactively auditing their sales funnel and sharing campaign, promotion and optimization ideas.

  • Become an expert in the business of podcasting and a true partner to our creators. Through your expertise, you will be able to find opportunities to make the lives of our creators better.

  • Solve technical questions, with assistance from other team members, including those on topics like plugins, embeds, and API & zapier integrations.

  • Be the customer champion, liaising with internal teams to ensure a great creator experience and sharing insights that will make our product even better.

  • Build customer-facing content and processes to make the creator experience even better.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 2+ years experience in customer success, account management or client-facing project management.

  • A natural advisor, who has previously become an expert in something and then used that knowledge to help others in their journey

  • Strong all-round expertise in selling digital goods, ideally with experience in areas like subscription, email marketing, content/social marketing and product launches.

  • A strong project manager who can run a tight ship and is not afraid to put their foot down when needed.

  • An owner mentality, someone who wears many hats, with a strong bias towards action. The details are important to you and you have a healthy dose of paranoia.

  • A tremendous appetite for learning. You’ll become an expert in the business of podcasts, ranging from content creation to marketing, in order to successfully coach creators and make their lives better.

  • Persuasive communication skills, with a knack for driving results, aligning people and making complex things sound easy.

  • Passion for the creator economy. You’ve witnessed the rise of creator-led media and are excited about shaping the tools for the most successful creators in the ecosystem.

  • We’re especially interested in candidates who have built products used by creators, media companies, or subscription businesses.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE WORKING FOR SUPERCAST

  • You’ll be directly shaping how podcast creators build sustainable businesses with their audiences, working directly with some of the most influential voices in podcasting.

  • Following our acquisition by Red Seat Ventures (a Fox Corp. company), we’re investing heavily in product and expanding the platform to support the next generation of creator tools.

  • You’ll join a tight-knit, ambitious team building what we believe will become the operating system for podcast-first creator businesses.

  • Good ideas get shipped quickly. You’ll have real ownership over what gets built.

  • We’re a remote-first company with most team members across North America (your primary work window should be Pacific - Eastern Time).
