OverviewWe are seeking a Creative Director to lead integrated creative initiatives for a large, high-profile energy client, with an emphasis on brand advocacy and campaign development. This senior creative leader will guide concepting, shape campaign narratives, and provide clear creative direction while partnering closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is a strong conceptual thinker and collaborative leader who remains close to the work, can translate business objectives into compelling creative ideas, and can confidently guide teams from brief through execution.

Responsibilities- Lead major creative initiatives and integrated campaigns, ensuring ideas are strategically grounded, creatively strong, and aligned to client priorities.
- Provide creative direction across brand advocacy, campaign, content, digital, social, video, event, newsletter, email, and always-on communications work.
- Partner with strategy, account, production, project management, content, and creative teams to develop work that is clear, compelling, and executable.
- Guide concept development, campaign storytelling, messaging, visual direction, and presentation narratives.
- Manage and mentor creative talent while staying close to the work and providing actionable feedback throughout the development process.
- Present creative work and rationale to internal stakeholders and clients with clarity, confidence, and strategic perspective.
- Ensure creative output is consistent with the broader creative vision, brand standards, and quality expectations.
- Help teams navigate ambiguity, feedback, timelines, and stakeholder needs while maintaining creative momentum.
Qualifications- 10-12 years total experience with Senior creative leadership experience within an agency, in-house agency, or large brand environment.
- Copy, narrative, or content-led creative background preferred
- Experience mentoring or managing creative talent in an agency, in-house agency, or brand environment.
- Experience working across multiple channels, including digital, social, video, events, email, newsletters, and brand communications.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating integrated campaign concepting, brand storytelling, strategic thinking, and polished execution.
- Experience leading creative teams and partnering cross-functionally across strategy, account, production, content, and project management.
- Ability to translate business objectives into creative platforms, campaign ideas, and channel-right executions.
- Strong presentation, communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
- Experience with advocacy, brand communications, digital, social, video, events, email, or always-on content preferred.
- Comfortable working in a confidential, matrixed client environment with shifting priorities and senior stakeholder input.

Compensation Range: USD $129,485.00 - USD $164,640.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
