Position Summary

Tipalti is looking for a Contract Motion Graphics Designer to produce consistent, innovative, and engaging creative assets. The ideal candidate sits at the forefront of creativity, has mastery of digital design tools, and knows how to bring compelling work to life, with a focus on motion graphics, animation, and video assets. You will join our growing Marketing team and report to the Creative team leader, helping drive cohesive execution of our visual brand and identity.

This is a full time, fixed term contract expected to run until December 31, 2026.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Owning the end-to-end creative process from concept to production across all creative assets while ensuring brand consistency with landing pages, events, webinars, email campaigns, and social media

This role will focus primarily on non-static deliverables for motion graphics, animation design, or video
  • Creating sophisticated, polished, professional motion graphics, animation, and typography to amplify marketing messaging into compelling and engaging designs
  • Leading the development of visual approaches that can scale: templates, tools, and guidance, while enabling our cross-functional partners to self-serve at their own pace
  • Applying deep experience with imaginative and iterative visual storytelling to generate thoughtful ideas, compelling narratives, and scalable concepts
  • Leading creative brainstorms and critiques with a genuine interest in finding the best solution for engaging new and existing audiences
  • Managing collaboration with cross-functional departments (Content, Demand Gen, etc.)

You Have The Following Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, and also relevant formal training and work experience with motion and animated graphics.
  • At least 7+ years of working experience on a professional creative team. (An in-house B2B SaaS environment is preferable.)
  • Firsthand experience producing digital assets, both static and animated (e.g. motion graphics, animation, landing page assets, web banners, social media posts, email marketing)
  • Deep knowledge of both classic and contemporary trends in typography, photography, illustration, motion graphics, and video
  • Online portfolio of real work demonstrating a solutions-based approach to innovative and

inspired ideas and design, with several examples including digital, print, motion, and animated graphics executions
  • Excellent communicator for providing design narratives to stakeholders, defending creative choices, and working with others
  • Highly self-motivated, problem-solver with a proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple (sometimes changing) projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant design tools (Figma, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, frame.io, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of current best practices in digital design, awareness of standards like CSS, Javascript, HTML, and front-end development, and familiarity and comfort working within UX constraints
  • Strong pre-visualization skills (e.g. wireframes, storyboarding, motion theory) and skills executing in digital mediums (web, video, presentations)
  • Easy and positive collaborator across departments, contractors, and agencies
  • Flexible but pragmatic, detail-oriented when necessary

Base Salary Range: $83,000 - $103,000 CAD annually.

The compensation information, above, reflects our reasonable expectation for this role based on several factors, including current market conditions. Final compensation will be determined through individual assessment of experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-relevant factors.
