Responsibilities

  • Management responsibilities with team or subcontractors
  • Extensive Travel (75 %) to jobsites and office locations to meet with preconstruction for budgeting, vendor meetings, conferences and other business development functions
  • Communicate with Executives within Brasfield & Gorrie and other companies
  • Create and present department strategic initiatives to company management
  • Evaluate current crane/hoist processes and procedures and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Maintain an understanding of the crane and hoist department operations
  • Understand and enforce general industry safety standards
  • Manage lift planning processes
  • Develop strategic relationships internally and externally
  • Identify industry trends that will impact Brasfield and Gorrie

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, operations management or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the crane industry including experience in operations or service
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Professionalism and ability to make excellent first impressions
  • Experience in managing a team of direct reports
  • Excellent communication skills
