Job Summary:In this role, you will design workforce services (WFS) data systems and improvements and specify the data capture requirements at each step of the employee lifecycle. You will broker interfaces, lead complex systems integrations, and code specialty items. Your guidance to programmers and cross-functional collaboration will ensure WFS data systems meet project and compliance requirements. #LI-TH1
Major Responsibilities: - Provides guidance to the IR/LR/WFS project and office teams in policy interpretation and WFS system/process management
- Coordinates all data efforts, specifies the data capture requirements at each step of the craft life cycle and brokers, inputs, mass-upload/downloads, interfaces with BBS counterparts to send data to or retrieve data from the data lake, specify data exchange requirements, or to make improvements to existing craft systems
- Creates specialized queries, reports, and metrics from WFS systems for project, countries, regions and/or WFS management
- Analyzes data and identify trends
- Designs, maps, and reviews WFS Processes using Excel or Visio
- May work in a "helpdesk" environment to respond to questions or support inquiries on WFS systems
- Understands data capture requirements at each step of craft life cycle and helps broker necessary interfaces between systems & functions
- Collaborates between functions to share necessary data related to craft employee life cycles, logistics data, employee attributes, wage types, and more
Education and Experience Requirements:- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
Required Knowledge and Skills:- Experience with using software such as, HRIS systems (SAP), Applicant Tracking Systems such as BrassRing, Taleo, or SuccessFactors, and HR Metrics tools such as Power BI.
- Basic Knowledge of US employment laws and how they relate to the construction industry.
- Basic Knowledge of personnel recruiting and hiring processes.
- Ability to appear regularly to work in person and on-time in the City West office or a construction site office setting, as needed.
- Ability to adapt to multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to learn to train system users to perform routine data administration tasks.
- Ability to interact and communicate with colleagues at all levels of the organization in a respectful and professional manner.
- Experience in working with others to accomplish a common objective.
- Written and verbal communication skills, adequate to explain complex technical items in simplified language.
- Ability to collaborate across functions/departments to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ability to work in the office several days per week, as the role is Part-time tele-work (Offices located in Greater Houston - specific reporting location may be flexible)
