SUMMARY This position is responsible for managing compliance with and leading the Bank's Community Reinvestment Act ("CRA") and Fair Lending Programs. The role reports to the Chief Risk Officer of the Bank. This is a leader / contributor role, requiring the candidate to develop the strategic execution of the Bank's CRA Program, as well as performing day-to-day activities in the on-going execution of the Program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Create, oversee and update policy and procedures for compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act and Fair Lending Act.
- Participate as a voting member in the Bank's Enterprise Risk Committee.
- Provide CRA training and support to branch personnel to build awareness of the Bank's community development initiatives.
- Assist the Finance Department in researching and identifying Community Development investment opportunities.
- Provide expertise to Division/Regional Managers to assist in evaluation of grant requests from nonprofit organizations involved in affordable housing development, small business assistance, community revitalization and other community-building activities.
- Conduct outreach with community-based organizations and community leaders to promote Sunwest Bank's community development initiatives and determine, on an ongoing basis, the credit needs of the communities served by Sunwest Bank
- Report to Senior Management, on a quarterly basis, the results of lending, investments and services to maintain a satisfactory or better CRA rating.
- Participate in community development forums and industry networks to maintain current understanding of community development issues and trends.
- Prepare CRA performance context and drive the regulatory evaluation process.
- Maintain CRA Public file in compliance with the regulation
- Manage and monitor the Bank's Fair Lending program
- Conduct periodic risk assessments for fair lending risk
- Support and lead the Bank's participation with community lending opportunities for Low and Moderate Income households, such as the FHLB WISH Program.
- Responsible for assigned risk assessments on the bank's ERM solution.

- Attends training and maintains a basic knowledge of procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing financial institutions, as they apply to your position and job responsibilities, with an emphasis on the BSA/AML/CIP, Consumer Privacy, Regulation CC, Information Security, Bank Protection Act, FACT-Identity Theft, Information Technology and GLBA.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Must have a minimum of five years experience in community reinvestment and/or equivalent experience, and be able to supervise staff.
- Working knowledge of Wolters Kluwers' CRA WIZ software and Microsoft Office
