Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of automotive cost management experience, preferably in powertrain
• Strong understanding of engine/transmission systems and associated cost structures
• Proven track record of success in program cost control and optimization
• Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office
• Solid business acumen with an emphasis on detail and confidentiality
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
• Fluency in English, with Chinese as a potential asset.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end cost excellence across engine and transmission programs
• Own full lifecycle cost management for designated programs
• Define and monitor cost targets down to subsystem level
• Analyze cost performance and initiate corrective actions as needed
• Lead cost optimization initiatives in cross-functional teams
• Enhance and implement cost control processes and methodologies
• Drive Design-to-Cost and Value Engineering initiatives
• Maintain a structured and reliable cost database for operational support.
