About the Role: The full-time "
Cost Estimator / Cost Analyst" will prepare independent estimates, review contractor pricing, evaluate change orders, and support cost tracking for public construction projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Develop independent cost estimates.
- Review contractor proposals and pricing.
- Review unit-price and time-and-material costs.
- Track project costs and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare cost reports and communicate findings to the project team.
Required Qualifications: - 8+ years of experience in estimating or cost control.
- Experience with public construction projects.
- Experience with unit-price or time-and-material pricing.
- Ability to accurately review contractor proposals, change orders, and project cost data.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: - Professional certification in cost estimating or cost analysis.
- ICEAA Professional Cost Estimator/Analyst (PCEA) or Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA) certification.
Estimated Annual Compensation: $124,800-$145,600 annually
