This Opportunity

WSP is seeking a Cost Controls Analyst to join our Project Controls team. This role can be based in Denver CO, Houston TX, or Kansas City MO.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Cost Controls Analyst works closely with Project Managers in the overall management of the project. This individual must have an intermediate understanding of complex Power and Energy projects and how they work, high levels of cost knowledge, and the ability to interact productively with key members of a project team with a variety of backgrounds.

Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
  • Identify work scope, technical sequencing, and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
  • Communicate with various project teams and internal work groups
  • Prepare cost performance and cash flow projections utilizing budget
  • Manage changes and keep teams aware of changes to the budget
  • Update individual tasks and Project Performance Indicators as indicated on progress updates
  • Review and report on project accruals and expenditures.
  • Assist with project closeout
  • Ideal candidate should be a self-starter and able to work independently

Compensation:

Expected Salary (all locations): $89,000-$120,000

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.

Expected Salary (Colorado only): $89,000-$120,000
