S³ is currently seeking a Cost and Operations Analystto provide support to the STORM Engineering Directorate at Redstone Arsenal, AL.

Position Description:

The Cost and Operations Analyst will support the Program Planning and Cost Division, Business Management Directorate, Strategic and Operational Rockets and Missiles (STORM) Project Office and will develop Cost and Software Data Reporting (CSDR) plans and related Statements of Work.

Responsibilities:
• Coordination for review and approval of CSDR plans with stakeholders including Defense Cost and Resource Center (DCARC), Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Cost and Economics (DASA-CE), STORM Acquisition Analysts, and reporting contractors.
• Identify and resolve issues related to the approval of those CSDR plans.
• Monitor CSDR submissions on DCARC website, voting on approval of those submissions, and following up with Contractor to resolve delinquencies or errors in submissions.
• Downloading and filing CSDR submissions into a data library.
• Developing an understanding of CSDR reports including Work Breakdown Structures and data provided to ensure submissions are logical and meet reporting requirements.
• Develop pivot tables and other data analysis products to support STORM cost team.

Qualifications:
• Bachelors' Degree and 10 years of experience, a Masters' Degree and 8 years of experience, or a High School Diploma and 14 years of experience.
• An active DoD security clearance at the Secret or higher level.
• 2+ years of experience providing support to Cost and Software Data Reporting or equivalent cost estimating tool.
• 3+ years of experience performing cost review functions.
• 1-2+ years of experience performing cost review functions and briefing management on the status and inputs of cost estimation to various levels of management.
