AWS Supply Chain is seeking a highly effective candidate to design and implement innovative solutions that deliver the best operating and lowest cost infrastructure in the world. This individual will own partnering with the supply chain and engineering owners to aggregate the costs of critical AI/ML hardware and report the latest cost status to senior leadership. They'll be responsible for working with product managers and engineering to stay up-to-date with the latest engineering changes and being the single-threaded owner for reporting costing information in leadership reviews. This individual will influence and partner with cross functional teams including hardware engineering, supply chain, quality and operations. A successful candidate will have experience managing complex technical BOM costing, tracking large cost reduction activities and navigating constant technical hardware design changes. They are comfortable working in a highly ambiguous setting and will combine a strong knowledge of supply chains with a proven ability to program manage cross-functional teams and effectively operate at all levels of the organization, including to senior executives. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis experience - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of program, project, product management, or leading a product implementation process experience - Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field - Experience in program, project, product management, or leading a product implementation process - Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies - Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python - 5+ years of working cross functionally across several teams experience, or a MBA and 4+ years of supply chain experience The base salary range for this position is listed below.
