Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in corporate transactional matters, including significant deal experience. Minimum requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in corporate transactional law.
- Ability to review and analyze complex business agreements and legal issues.
- Exceptional research, drafting, and writing skills.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of corporate and commercial contracts, including mergers and acquisitions, entity formations, and financing documents.
- Experience with due diligence and closing processes is highly desirable.
- Experience using AI legal tools such as Westlaw CoCounsel and CoPilot is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and desire for professional development.
- Ability to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently while using sound judgment in decision-making.
- Ability to manage relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Member of the Ohio Bar in good standing
The salary starts at $132,000 for candidates with two years of experience and rises with additional experience.
