POSITION PURPOSE

The Corporate Strategy Manager supports the Chief of Staff, executive leadership, and Director of Corporate Strategy in developing, analyzing, and advancing the organization's strategic priorities.

This role translates strategic direction into actionable workstreams, performance measures, business analyses, and executive reporting. The Manager serves as a key contributor to strategic planning, enterprise performance management, strategic initiatives, and cross-functional business planning.

The Corporate Strategy Manager partners closely with functional leaders and the Enterprise PMO to monitor strategic priorities, identify risks and dependencies, track performance, and support successful execution.

This position reports to the Chief of Staff (CoS) and leads the Corporate Strategy function, including direct management of the Project Manager. The role supports enterprise strategy, strategic planning, organizational performance, and execution of strategic priorities in partnership with the Enterprise PMO.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Corporate Strategy & Strategic Planning
  • Support development and ongoing management of the organization's corporate strategy and strategic roadmap.
  • Translate organizational priorities into defined objectives, initiatives, milestones, and measures.
  • Support annual and quarterly strategic planning activities.
  • Coordinate information and inputs from departments to support enterprise planning.
  • Monitor progress against strategic objectives and identify areas requiring attention.
  • Research and analyze strategic opportunities, challenges, and organizational priorities.
  • Maintain strategic planning documentation and reporting.

Enterprise Performance & Analytics
  • Support development and maintenance of enterprise KPIs and performance measures.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret organizational performance data.
  • Identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities within performance information.
  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, reports, and presentations for leadership.
  • Monitor progress against strategic goals and initiatives.
  • Partner with functional teams to validate performance information and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support recurring enterprise performance reporting.

Strategic Initiatives & Business Planning
  • Manage assigned strategic initiatives and workstreams.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, deliverables, and success measures for assigned initiatives.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support strategic recommendations and business cases.
  • Support evaluation of opportunities related to growth, market expansion, partnerships, operations, technology, and organizational development.
  • Prepare recommendations and decision-support materials for leadership.
  • Coordinate with the Enterprise PMO when strategic initiatives transition into formal project execution.
  • Monitor initiative progress and escalate risks, barriers, and dependencies appropriately.

Executive & Leadership Support
  • Prepare executive presentations, reports, dashboards, briefings, and strategy updates.
  • Support executive meetings and strategic planning sessions.
  • Maintain action items, decisions, and follow-up activities associated with strategic priorities.
  • Track and communicate progress against assigned enterprise initiatives.
  • Conduct research and analysis requested by the Chief of Staff, Director of Corporate Strategy, or executive leadership.
  • Support preparation of materials for leadership meetings and organizational priority-setting.

Project Management & Governance
  • Manage assigned strategic projects and workstreams.
  • Establish project timelines, milestones, responsibilities, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate project activities across multiple departments.
  • Maintain project documentation and status reporting.
  • Identify dependencies, risks, resource constraints, and potential barriers to execution.
  • Partner with the Enterprise PMO to align strategic projects with organizational project management standards.
  • Ensure assigned initiatives maintain appropriate accountability and follow-through.

Market, Growth & Enterprise Analysis
  • Monitor relevant healthcare, market, competitive, customer, and payer trends.
  • Conduct research and analysis supporting growth and market opportunities.
  • Support evaluation of new markets, partnerships, strategic investments, and operational opportunities.
  • Prepare research summaries and recommendations for leadership.
  • Identify emerging trends and potential strategic implications.
  • Support development of business cases and opportunity assessments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with clinical, operations, technology, finance, growth, HR, and other functional teams.
  • Coordinate information and deliverables across departments.
  • Facilitate communication regarding strategic initiatives and priorities.
  • Identify competing priorities and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Promote accountability and timely follow-through.
  • Build productive relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in executive, leadership, and cross-functional meetings as appropriate.
  • Support organizational initiatives, special projects, acquisitions, market expansions, and workforce transitions.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, dashboards, communications, and recommendations for executive leadership.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities consistent with the scope and level of the position.


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Six (6+) years of experience in corporate strategy, business analysis, strategic planning, business operations, project management, management consulting, healthcare strategy, or a related field.
  • Three (3+) years of leadership experience with responsibility for business analysis, strategic planning, business operations, project management, management consulting, or healthcare strategy.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and comparable business tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare professional presentations and executive-level reporting.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Ability to operate with discretion when handling confidential business information.


EDUCATION, LICENSES, & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • Master's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or other relevant professional certification is preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education, professional experience, and demonstrated leadership capability may be considered.
