Overview:

The Compensation & Benefits Analyst supports the administration, analysis, and operational effectiveness of Omni's compensation and employee benefits programs. Reporting to the Corporate Manager, Benefits & Compensation, this role partners with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders to ensure compensation and benefits programs are administered accurately, remain competitive, and support organizational objectives.

The Compensation & Benefits Analyst assists with compensation administration, market pricing, salary structure maintenance, benefits compliance activities, reporting, audits, and employee support. This position plays a key role in maintaining data integrity, supporting annual compensation and benefits processes, and providing analysis to support informed business decisions.

This position is based in Dallas, TX at the Corporate Office, Monday through Friday. Work from home one or two days per week at the department's discretion.

Responsibilities:

Compensation Administration:
  • Support the administration of compensation programs, including annual merit increases, promotions, market adjustments, and salary structure updates.
  • Assist with market pricing and benchmarking activities using compensation survey data and external market resources.
  • Analyze compensation data to support pay decisions, internal equity reviews, and compensation recommendations.
  • Prepare compensation reports, dashboards, and analyses for leadership and HR Business Partners.
  • Maintain compensation records, salary structures, job codes, and position data within HRIS and compensation management systems.
  • Support annual compensation planning processes, including merit, and budget administration.
  • Conduct audits of compensation transactions to ensure compliance with company guidelines and approved compensation practices.
  • Assist with compensation projects, job evaluations, organizational changes, and special studies.

Benefits Administration:
  • Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, leave of absence, and voluntary benefit plans.
  • Serve as a resource to associates and HR Business Partners by providing guidance on benefit programs, eligibility requirements, enrollment procedures, and plan provisions.
  • Manage escalated benefit inquiries and partner with vendors to resolve complex enrollment, eligibility, billing, and claims-related issues.
  • Conduct audits of benefit enrollments, payroll deductions, eligibility records, and vendor files to ensure accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with plan provisions.
  • Support benefits compliance activities, including ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, Section 125, Medicare Part D, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting, employee notices, eligibility reviews, and compliance-related audits to ensure adherence to legal and plan requirements.
  • Support ACA administration activities, including eligibility audits, data validation, reporting preparation, and annual compliance processes.
  • Coordinate with benefit carriers, third-party administrators, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate administration of benefit programs and compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Review vendor reports and benefit administration data to identify discrepancies, compliance risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Assist with monthly benefit invoice reconciliations and partner with Payroll and Finance to investigate and resolve variances.
  • Support leave of absence administration by coordinating benefit impacts and working with third-party leave and disability vendors.
  • Assist with administration of the Company's 401(k) plan, including eligibility reviews, contribution audits, participant support, and compliance-related activities.
  • Support annual open enrollment activities, including testing, employee communications, enrollment audits, and post-enrollment reconciliation.

Reporting & Analysis:
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports related to compensation, benefits, workforce demographics, and HR metrics.
  • Analyze data and identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Support HRIS testing, data validation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with compliance reporting and audit requests.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Five (5)+ years of experience in compensation, benefits administration, human resources, payroll, or a related analytical role.
  • Experience supporting compensation programs, employee benefits administration, or HR operations within a complex organization.
  • Experience working with Dayforce HRIS, benefits administration, compensation, and reporting systems preferred.
