Ballard Spahr LLP, which recently combined with Lane Powell PC, is seeking a highly qualified associate to join its expanding Securities & Capital Markets practice in Seattle or Portland. Qualified candidates should have 4 to 6 years of experience in compliance and reporting, capital markets transactions, public company M&A, and corporate governance for publicly traded companies. The ideal candidate will have distinguished academic credentials, excellent communications skills and attention to detail, and a strong knowledge of '34 Act, '33 Act, stock exchange rules, and other relevant regulations and laws. Compensation and Benefits: The salary range for this position is from $230,000 - $305,000, which reflects the Firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition to the salary for this position, lawyers may be eligible for an incentive bonus program and/or a profit-sharing bonus program.
