The Opportunity

As a Corporate Real Estate Sr. CAPEX Project Manager (Construction), you will plan, direct, and oversee large capital expansion and new construction projects that support business growth and organizational effectiveness. You will manage end-to-end design and construction delivery, balancing scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors. The role focuses on project planning, estimating, scheduling, budget development, risk management, documentation, and execution oversight from pre-planning through closeout. You will address complex project challenges by applying construction practices, maintaining project controls, ensuring compliance with requirements, and supporting health, safety, and environmental expectations. Through the delivery of corporate real estate construction initiatives and facility improvements, you will help provide the infrastructure that supports reliable power operations and ongoing innovation.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead project planning and project strategy with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Your Background
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 15+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and demonstrated achievements.
  • 15+ years of experience in construction and capital projects/programs.
  • Experience delivering construction and capital projects/programs and corporate real estate construction for new facilities and facility modifications, including health, safety, and environmental expectations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint), advanced capability in MS Project or similar tools, and working knowledge of AutoCAD, construction-related tools, and reporting tools that support project oversight.
  • PM or PMP certification preferred.
  • Travel required
