Position Summary

Position Summary:The Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within the approved scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards. This role partners with business leaders, operations, clients, technology teams, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions that improve performance, increase efficiency, enhance resident and client experience, and support RPM Living’s strategic priorities.

 

Purpose Statement:Project Management Office (PMO) enables RPM Living to deliver strategic initiatives with greater clarity, consistency, and accountability. Through portfolio governance, prioritization, cross-functional coordination, and executive-level visibility, the Strategic Services PMO helps ensure the right work is sequenced, resourced, and executed in alignment with enterprise goals. • Review project proposals, business cases, and project plans to determine scope, objectives, timelines, resource needs, risks, dependencies, and delivery requirements. • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, resource plans, risk logs, issue logs, decision logs, and status reporting tools. • Partner with operations, corporate support teams, external partners, and vendors to define deliverables, assign responsibilities, clarify roles, and confirm scope of authority. • Lead and coordinate project activities to ensure work progresses on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with approved objectives and business priorities. • Identify project risks, dependencies, barriers, and change impacts; develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruption and improve outcomes. • Support enterprise portfolio visibility by tracking project status, key milestones, risks, dependencies, decisions, and impacts across assigned initiatives. • Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder discussions to drive alignment, accountability, timely decision-making, and issue resolution. • Provide guidance to project teams and business partners to resolve problems, remove barriers, and support effective execution. • Use project management tools, reporting platforms, data insights, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities to improve planning, tracking, communication, analysis, documentation, and delivery. • Evaluate opportunities to responsibly apply AI or automation to project workflows, stakeholder communications, reporting, documentation, process mapping, research, and decision support.

Education and Experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:• Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, techniques, and project lifecycle management. • Knowledge of business process improvement, workflow analysis, operational efficiency, and scalable solution design. • Knowledge of change management principles, including stakeholder readiness, communication planning, training coordination, adoption support, and sustainment. • Skilled in developing project plans, timelines, milestones, risk logs, issue logs, decision logs, dashboards, presentations, and executive-level communications. • Skilled in facilitating meetings, working sessions, stakeholder discussions, and leadership updates to drive alignment, accountability, and timely decision-making. • Skilled in identifying, assessing, escalating, and mitigating project risks, dependencies, barriers, and change impacts. • Ability to lead through influence, build trust, and motivate cross-functional teams without direct authority. • Ability to use project management tools, reporting platforms, data insights, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities to improve planning, tracking, communication, analysis, documentation, and delivery.

 

Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.• 3+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within scope.• PMP or other project management certification strongly preferred.

• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time• Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data• Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer• May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds• Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment

 

Work Environment:

• This is a hybrid role requiring the associate to work in our Austin, Texas corporate office three to four days a week.• The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.
