Position Description: CGI is seeking a self-motivated, intellectually curious finance professional with a strong work ethic to join our Corporate Finance team supporting CGI's Global Internal Corporate Functions.
This opportunity offers exposure to multiple business units while partnering closely with corporate and operational teams to support strategic decision-making through financial planning, forecasting, reporting, analysis, and business insights.
Your future duties and responsibilities:• Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly financial forecasts for the Corporate EVP group.
• Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful analysis of financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and plans.
• Analyze financial data and develop financial models to support business decisions.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to operational stakeholders.
• Present financial analysis clearly and concisely to support informed decision-making.
• Analyze balance sheet accounts and ensure balance sheet integrity.
• Participate in the development and implementation of performance management tools.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance financial processes and operational efficiency.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as required.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA designation or CPA in progress is considered an asset.
• 1-2 years of experience in a Financial Analyst or Finance Business Partner role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive approach to gathering and validating financial information.
• High level of accountability and attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with PeopleSoft and/or Oracle Hyperion is considered an asset.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000-$105,000.
Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
