Full Job Description
About The Team

Life360's FP&A team is small, senior, and closely connected to how the company operates. We don't sit on the sidelines. Finance is in the room when decisions get made, and the work we produce is what leadership relies on to run the business. We know a top-performing finance organization is a competitive advantage, and we're investing in the people, systems, and processes that get us there.

The team is organized into three groups under the VP, Finance. Corporate Finance owns the enterprise planning cadence, consolidated reporting, and the materials that go to the board and investor relations support. Strategic Finance operates outside the regular cadence on longer-horizon work: strategic partnerships, internal decision-making analysis, M&A, and capital allocation. Business Finance is embedded inside each of our three revenue and R&D verticals as dedicated partners. All three groups work from a single plan of record. The quality of what we deliver depends on how well we collaborate, and that expectation is built into how the structure operates.
About the Job

We are looking for a new Corporate Finance Manager to help scale with our rapidly growing business and be a strategic partner within our Finance and People & Talent organizations. You'll serve a key role in our monthly forecasting cadence and Long-Range Plan on day one, contribute meaningfully to investor relations and quarterly earnings work, and flex into Cash Flow and special projects when the team needs you. You'll also own headcount and payroll reporting, the data feeds behind it, and the automation layer that lets us move quickly. This role combines deep analytical rigor with executive communication, requiring someone who can make clear recommendations that solve complex problems and deliver compelling narratives with a "big picture" perspective. The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker with an innate attention to detail, have excellent financial modeling skills, possess a strong analytical mindset, have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and thrive in a dynamic, results-oriented work environment.

You don't need to be an AI expert, but you should be curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter. Our finance team uses Claude, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork today, and we want someone who's excited about the evolution of AI and the ways we can use it to elevate our work.

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports to start, reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Finance.

The US-based salary range for this position is $125,500 to $185,500. For candidates based out of Canada, the salary range for this position is $145,500 to $171,500 CAD. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary - therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.
What You'll Do

Planning & Forecasting
  • Build the consolidated story behind the monthly forecast. Consult Business Finance and analyze variances to plan - focusing on the "why" and not just the "what".
  • Produce executive-level analyses across headcount, expenses, and revenue streams. Surface what matters and frame it clearly for leadership.
  • Be a key partner in our Long-Range Plan and Annual Plan processes: quantify the impact of strategic initiatives on our consolidated P&L, pressure-test assumptions, and drive the executive narrative.

FP&A Data & Systems
  • Act as subject-matter expert in Pigment - our FP&A tool - owning corporate model logic and company-wide planning assumptions.
  • Identify bottlenecks, use first principles thinking to problem-solve, and unlock efficiency gains.
  • Partner with Finance Data and Finance Transformation to bring AI and automation into our workflows.

People & Talent Business Partnering
  • Be the trusted finance business partner of our People & Talent organization.
  • Interface with our Chief People Officer and Talent and People Operations teams, not only to help build and manage their forecasts and budgets, but also partner on projects that bolster our people-related analytics and workflows.
  • Own headcount analysis and hiring reporting leveraged across all recruiters and hiring managers at Life360.

Financial Modeling & Ad-hoc Analysis
  • Build the analysis behind the questions that need to be answered - whether they come from accounting, our internal team, business partners, or the CFO.
  • Support Investor Relations team during quarterly earnings cycle with varying analyses.
  • Generate ad-hoc analyses on tight timelines without sacrificing rigor. Turn half-formed prompts into sharp, defensible answers.
  • Flex into Cash Flow forecasting, quarterly earnings, special projects, and business acquisition integration as the cycle demands.
What We're Looking For
  • 6-8 years in FP&A or corporate finance at a public company, with progressive scope and exposure to executive-level reporting.
  • Ideally from a high-growth technology company with multiple revenue streams.
  • Passion for data and its power in creating a competitive advantage for a company.
  • Exceptional at financial modeling. You build clean, flexible models from scratch under time pressure, and you have an instinct for the right level of detail.
  • Track record of producing high-quality analysis with both attention to detail and a big-picture understanding of the business.
  • Bias for quality and continuous improvement. You'd rather do less work at an A+ level than lots of work at a B+ level.
  • Comfortable in a fast, deadline-driven cadence that also requires working autonomously with limited direction.
  • Deep understanding of an enterprise planning platform (Pigment, Adaptive, or similar) as more than a casual user, and the systems-thinking to architect models that scale.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, proven ability to take agency to move work. forward and be an effective collaborator - from junior employees to senior leadership.
  • Ownership mindset that recognizes the importance of trust - whether within the team, across the company, in the systems we build, or in the product we sell.
  • Curious about AI and willing to use it. Some hands-on exposure to Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience. MBA preferred but not required.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Pigment.
  • Working proficiency with SQL, familiar with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar product.
  • Hands-on use of AI tools in a professional setting.
  • Project management experience in cross-functional finance workstreams.
  • M&A integration experience.
  • Three-statement modeling and direct cash flow method
  • Investor Relations experience
Our Benefits
  • Competitive pay and benefits.
  • Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans (100% paid for US employees). We offer supplemental plans for medical and dental for Canadian employees.
  • 401(k) plan with company matching program in the US and RRSP with DPSP plan for Canadian employees.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental wellness.
  • Flexible PTO and 12 company wide days off throughout the year.
  • Learning & Development programs.
  • Equipment, tools, and reimbursement support for a productive remote environment.
  • Free Life360 Platinum Membership for your preferred circle.
