Full Job Description
Position Description

The Corporate Finance Manager, Enterprise Functions / SG&A will serve as the company's central financial authority for all corporate SG&A costs, reporting directly to the VP of Corporate Finance. This role owns the consolidation, planning, and performance analysis of SG&A across every enterprise function-Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal, Marketing, and Executive leadership-delivering the VP of Corporate Finance and senior leadership a clear, integrated view of total corporate overhead and its trajectory.

A defining dimension of this role is partnering with the VP of Corporate Finance to rigorously analyze investments and model Voyager's pathway to AEBITDA profitability. Voyager has set a clear milestone: exit Q4 2027 AEBITDA positive. This manager will build the financial frameworks that connect SG&A leverage to revenue growth and margin expansion, model investment sequencing decisions, and provide the VP of Corporate Finance and executive team with the visibility they need to make high-confidence decisions-and communicate progress credibly to the Board and investors.

This role also owns the Functional Cost capability within Voyager's "One Voyager" Vena model-the company's rebuilt enterprise planning infrastructure-and is expected to actively leverage AI tools, including Claude, to accelerate analysis, automate routine deliverables, and continuously raise the quality and speed of financial insight. The ideal candidate is a disciplined, forward-leaning analyst who thrives in a high-growth environment and earns the confidence of senior executives through credibility, clarity, and a genuine understanding of the business.

Key Responsibilities

SG&A Financial Planning, Consolidation & Executive Partnering
  • Own the end-to-end consolidation and planning cycle for all corporate SG&A-accountable for accuracy and integrity from annual budget and quarterly reforecast through long-range plan; partner with functional finance and Accounting on allocations, accruals, and period-end close.
  • Maintain the Functional Cost capability within Voyager's "One Voyager" Vena model, building and managing SG&A dimensions so functional spend flows directly into the enterprise model without a manual translation step.
  • Own Functional Cost Performance Management-serve as the strategic financial partner to enterprise function leaders, accountable for actionable spend visibility within 2 business days of close and variance explanations within 5 days; own the planning conversation and executive relationships while coordinating reporting execution with the finance analyst team.

Pathway to Profitability & Investment Analysis
  • Build and maintain financial models connecting SG&A leverage, revenue growth, and gross margin expansion into a management-actionable view of Voyager's trajectory to AEBITDA positive at exit of Q4 2027-including scenario analyses that quantify the cost of each investment decision in profitability timing.
  • Evaluate all proposed enterprise function investments-building ROI models and business cases that frame each decision as accretive or dilutive to the profitability timeline, with clear tradeoff analysis on capability gained vs. cost incurred.
  • Track SG&A as a percentage of revenue, benchmark against comparable companies, and prepare Board- and investor-ready analyses on SG&A trends and profitability progress feeding BOD packages, IR preparation, and external guidance.

AI-Driven Insight & Process Improvement
  • Actively leverage Claude and AI tools across the analysis cycle-accelerating research, drafting variance commentary and executive narratives for review, and stress-testing model assumptions; identify new use cases that advance Voyager's AI roadmap and build toward greater autonomy in routine finance workflows.
  • Identify and drive process improvements across SG&A financial planning, reporting, and period-end close-reducing manual effort, improving cycle speed, and building data reliability as Voyager scales.
  • Partner with the analytics and technology team to define SG&A and functional cost data products for the enterprise data platform, ensuring the financial dimensions this role owns in Vena flow cleanly into self-service reporting tools and dashboards for function leaders.

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience with direct ownership of corporate SG&A or enterprise function budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting-own the number, not just the spreadsheet.
  • Hands-on Vena proficiency (or a directly comparable EPM/CPM platform)-model-building, dimension management, and consolidation experience required; data-entry familiarity alone is not sufficient.
  • Demonstrated, active use of AI tools-including Claude or comparable large language models-to accelerate financial analysis, draft and improve deliverables, and elevate the quality and speed of insight.
  • Proven ability to build complex, multi-driver financial models connecting functional cost detail to enterprise-level insight, including investment analysis, ROI modeling, payback analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Strong GAAP foundation with depth in income statement and SG&A cost structure dynamics; demonstrated ability to own consolidated financial views across multiple cost centers with full accountability for accuracy and integrity.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills-proven ability to translate financial complexity into clear, decision-ready narrative for VP-level and executive audiences, including BOD and investor-facing deliverables.

Preferred
  • Experience at a high-growth, pre-profitability, or recently public technology or defense company, with direct exposure to EBITDA bridge analysis, burn rate management, and investor- or Board-facing financial deliverables.
  • Dynamic executive business partnering skills-building trusted relationships with C-suite and VP-level leaders, influencing decisions without direct authority, and communicating with credibility and poise under scrutiny.
  • Experience supporting external guidance processes-BOD reporting packages, IR preparation, or earnings materials.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity; proven ability to impose structure, prioritize independently, and deliver on deadline in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • MBA, CPA, or CMA.
  • Advanced proficiency in NetSuite or comparable ERP system.
  • Familiarity with the defense, aerospace, or national security industry, including FAR Part 31 cost principles and indirect cost structures.
