Daikin Applied is seeking a Sr. Corporate Events Tradeshow Specialist who is responsible for supporting our Marketing organization and Daikin's position as the premier HVAC solutions provider in our industry. Location: Hybrid, Plymouth, MN

What you will do:

Trade Shows:
• Own vertical market trade shows and support Sr Manager on large shows. Daikin currently supports 11 shows annually, with opportunities to expand our tradeshow presence
• Manage the relationship with NPARALLEL(NP)(Fridley/MN), including oversight of the online exhibit inventory system warehouse assets, annual inventory audits, and the development of new booth assets
• Partner with NP to coordinate show services and exhibit logistics for all trade shows
• Own and manage the trade show lead capture and follow-up process, including measurement and reporting of success
• Manage the internal trade show website with event schedules, attendance information and related content
• Learn and become fluent in 3rd party supplier inventory management software
• Partner with Marketing team to support trade show related social media and advertising campaigns
• Build and maintain industry relationships

Corporate Apparel & Promotional Items:
• Partner with Indirect Sourcing on company promotional merchandise store
• Support special requests for unique items needed for executive visits or customer events
• Procure and coordinate event supplies, including lanyards, note cards, clothing, name badges, golf materials, signage, etc.

Shipping and Events:
• Manage the shipment and return of event materials, exhibit assets, and promotional items for events nationwide
• Lead coordination with the Daikin facilities team on all event-related shipping activity
• Support ad hoc events and special projects as needed
• Maintain basic knowledge of Daikin's products and solutions
• Administrative support to marketing and communications work streams as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• 6 to 8 years of Trade Show experience
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of Trade Show experience or event experience
• CTSM certification a plus

The typical salary for this position ranges from $66,000k-$108,800K in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
