Corporate EHS Training Manager:

The Corporate EHS Training Manager position is responsible for supporting the company’s Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) program and Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) department through the development and delivery of training for both HOP and EHSS topics. Under the guidance of the Director of Safety Transformation and Human and Organizational performance, this role helps to ensure the safety of all employees, visitors and contractors, protect the environment, and maintain compliance with all global and local regulations across all sites by actively engaging employees at all levels of the organization to drive a safety culture characterized by accountability, commitment, and teamwork.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop training materials for both computer-based and classroom training settings in support of the company’s HOP and EHSS programs
  • Deliver HOP training classes and facilitate learning teams
  • Serve as key contact for HOP and EHSS content in the company’s LMS
  • Perform administrative functions in LMS, including but not limited to tasks such as making assignments, setting compliance schedules, and managing user accounts
  • Home-based with travel up to 30%

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience implementing EHS standards and managing compliance training programs and 2+ years of instructional design experience OR
    • 8+ years of experience implementing EHS standards and managing compliance training programs and 4+ years of instructional design experience
  • Strong knowledge of HOP philosophy and principles, with experience facilitating learning teams preferred
  • Experienced with the administration of learning management systems (Litmos preferred)
  • Experienced with e-Learning authoring tools (such as Articulate Rise and Storyline)
  • Excellent soft skills with the ability to adjust communication style to accommodate diverse audiences at all levels of the organization
  • Comfortable presenting to and facilitating large groups, both in-person and virtually
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)

 

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000k-$110,000k + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. At Novolex, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
