Full Job Description
Full Time - Must live within two hours of our corporate office in Dillsburg, PA.

The Corporate Director of Education is responsible for developing the strategy and implementation of educational programming and development skills to support a diverse Presbyterian Senior Living workforce. This individual will also be the administrator of PSL's Learning Management System and ensure that educational programming meets regulatory requirements, enhances technical skills and proficiency, supports culture, program excellence, and professional development in alignment with PSL strategic direction.

  • Bachelor's degree or willingness to obtain
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Education, Organization Development, Consulting or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering education and training programs for professionals and systems/multi-site organizations required
  • Must be able to work independently and lead others in developing and implementing training and education programs
  • Requires proficiency with Microsoft Word, Teams, and computer-based learning systems such as Relias
  • Ability to travel to PSL communities and the home office (Dillsburg, PA) as needed


Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Develops and implements educational programs aligned with PSL's strategic direction, objectives and workforce needs
  • Collaborates with all of PSL (departments, disciplines and lines of business) to develop regulated education and other necessary educational programming to develop a competent and poised workforce for today and future
  • Responsible for ensuring PSL tuition reimbursement program, resident scholarship programs, internship and job shadowing are advertised, compliant and utilized
  • Responsible for Learning Management System curriculum, user permissions, content development, and vendor integration and negotiates appropriate contracts with educational partners and vendors
  • Develops and conducts an organization-wide learning needs assessment annually and manages Education Policy and Procedures
  • Sources, develops and presents programs that strengthen supervisory skills, consumer experience, and team member satisfaction
  • Ensures PSL education and training programs are accessible to a diverse employee population, and all education schedules are properly maintained and monitored
  • Responsible for ongoing evaluation of educational technology, learning styles, platforms and opportunities including but not limited to: AI Learning, mobile learning, virtual reality simulation/Simulation labs, etc
  • Responsible to track, analyze, created and manage an educational dashboard and provide relevant reports to measure the effectiveness of education initiates and programs (linking measurement to strategic goals)
