Full Job Description
A Corporate Development Manager is responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives, identifying and executing opportunities for acquisitions, partnerships, and other corporate transactions that expand a company's market presence, revenue, and competitive position. The position reports to the President and CEO.

Core Responsibilities
  • Opportunity Identification: Scout and evaluate potential acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships. Collect and organize opportunities to research.
  • Financial & Strategic Analysis: Perform due diligence, financial modeling, and market analysis to assess deal viability. Manage Data room and due diligence checklists.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present business cases, financial models, and progress reports to senior management
  • Deal Execution: Negotiate terms, manage contracts, and oversee integration plans post-acquisition, Communicate and address questions with target to ensure a complete contract.
  • Strategic Planning & Growth Initiatives: Develop and implement corporate development strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with legal/contracts, finance, operations, and sales/marketing teams to ensure smooth integration and alignment Ensure a complete data room review and assist with integration of acquired companies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with banks, partners, and senior leadership
  • Market Monitoring: Track industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes to identify risks and opportunities

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree; advanced degrees or certifications in finance, business, accounting, engineering or related fields are preferred
  • Experience: 10+ years in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or in-house corporate strategy
  • Technical Skills: Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical abilities; proficiency in financial software and reporting tools
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to influence and collaborate across functions
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the relevant market sectors (e.g., military and commercial aerospace; industrial markets such as heavy transportation, rail and marine markets; actuation technology) and deal processes

Typical Work Environment
  • Often requires in-office work (e.g., 3+ days/week) for deal coordination and stakeholder meetings

Compensation: $135,000.00 - $170,000.00 annual base salary based experience
