  • Coordinate due diligence activities across multiple workstreams.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables to facilitate efficient transaction execution.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Corporate Development Associate to support Modera's inorganic growth strategy through the evaluation and execution of mergers, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and related initiatives. This role conducts financial and strategic analyses, supports due diligence and transaction execution, and partners cross-functionally to assess opportunities, mitigate risks, and advance the firm's long-term growth objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate acquisition, partnership, and strategic growth opportunities through financial, operational, and strategic analysis.
  • Build financial models and perform valuation analyses to assess transaction structures, returns, risks, and growth potential.
  • Develop recommendations and communicate findings to leadership regarding strategic fit, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare executive presentations, investment committee materials, business cases, and transaction summaries.
  • Synthesize diligence results into actionable recommendations and support transaction structuring and integration planning.
  • Coordinate due diligence activities across financial, operational, regulatory, technology, human capital, and commercial workstreams.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and key milestones to facilitate efficient transaction execution.
  • Support sourcing efforts by identifying, assessing, and advancing prospective acquisition and partnership opportunities.
  • Manage acquisition pipeline reporting, opportunity tracking, and related corporate development systems and tools.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to corporate development processes, tools, reporting, and diligence methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point of market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location, and most importantly, performance in the job role
