The Tyler Technologies Legal Affairs team has an opening for an
attorney who is looking for a fast-paced, challenging and constantly evolving environment. The right candidate will enjoy working on a variety of complex technology contractual and legal issues.

ResponsibilitiesWhat You Will Do:
- Work closely with the General Counsel, Corporate and other Legal Affairs attorneys on a range of corporate transactional matters and agreements with a focus on Tyler's third-party vendor relationships
- Review, negotiate, and draft complex inbound software licensing, cloud computing and IT infrastructure services contracts
- Work directly with Tyler's business teams providing day to day advice and education on legal risks, complex business relationships and compliance topics
- Work collaboratively with internal legal and business teams to create standard practices, procedures and agreements for company engagements
QualificationsWhat you will bring:
- 3-5 years of law firm or in-house corporate and transactional generalist experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
- software licensing and subscription contracts
- mergers, acquisitions and integration management
- artificial intelligence laws and policies
- copyright and trademark law
- digital accessibility compliance
- international corporate legal matters
- open source license compliance
- Pragmatic approach to complex legal issues
- Ability to work with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders
- Technology background with willingness and energy to learn new areas of expertise
- JD degree and license to practice law in any US state
- May be required to undergo and satisfactorily pass a fingerprint background check in accordance with CJIS requirements.
