Responsibilities

Clinical Effectiveness Coordinator The Quality and Sepsis Program Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the facility's Sepsis Program. Additionally, this position takes an active role in the quality department's oversight of readmission and length of stay reduction, core measures, regulatory and compliance initiatives and data extraction, mortality and following up on hospital acquired conditions.

Qualifications

E D UCATION/TRAINING/ E X P E R IENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Five (5) years' clinical experience required, preferably in critical care or ER environment
  • Previous experience in case review, quality management, chart audits, and/or implementing actions to ensure regulatory compliance required
  • Knowledge of regulatory measures and CMS, The Joint Commission, and CDPH standards required
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California required
  • Current certification from American Heart Association in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • Advanced National certification preferred
