Job Summary

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Under the direction of the Director of Curriculum and Instruction or designee, and in collaboration with the Director of Student and Family Services, the Coordinator of Categorical Programs and Special Projects coordinates the day-to-day planning, implementation, monitoring, documentation, reporting, budgeting, technical assistance, and continuous improvement of assigned state and federal categorical programs and special projects.
The Coordinator implements approved plans and provides operational leadership within delegated authority. The appropriate Director retains final authority for district policy, instructional direction, student-service decisions, employee evaluation, budget and plan approval, formal compliance certification, and legal interpretation.
