POSITION SUMMARY

Coordinates the activities of Risk Compliance and Insurance activities across the CTA System. Assist the Deputy General Counsel in the review, recommendations, approval, processing and overall management of the certificate of insurance program for liability, property and corporate insurance requirements for all vendors providing services or material to the CTA. Assists in reviewing requirements against any and all risk loss to the CTA's property and assets. Assists in the reviews and revisions to department procedures. Involved in the evaluation and development of computer systems supporting Risk Compliance and Insurance. Maintains the enrollment process for the CTA blanket Railroad Protective Insurance and Art Insurance programs. Review and approval of insurance for personal vehicle used for authority business by CTA employees.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Receives, analyzes and processing of all insurance documents for any and all vendors providing services and materials to the CTA. Assist the Deputy General Counselor in the review, management and organization of all insurance matters including but not limited to CTA's Insurance Portfolio and CTA Insurance Requirements for vendors and third party contractors working on or within 50'ft of CTA property.
• Reviews, prepares and processes approvals for insurance documentation in accordance with established Risk Compliance Procedures.
• Participates in the development of procedures, systems and forms, and trains personnel to provide accuracy and efficiency of workflow in Risk Compliance programs.
• Assists in the coordination of insurance submission documentation across all coverage lines.
• In coordination with the Risk Compliance team members and outside consultants, prepares and submits required correspondence, reports, records, insurance invoices, statements and files relative to statistical history and tabulations of CTA cost of risk.
• Works in liaison with internal and external customers in all aspects of insurance management.
• Analyzes and maintains system applications for areas with Risk Compliance, Purchasing, Real Estate, Construction, Business Development, Strategic Planning and Finance.
• Analyzes forms, files, reports, documents, etc. to identify potential data processing applications that enhance Risk Compliance and insurance tracking systems. Analyzes system software and proposes enhancements.
• Assists RMIS in gathering data for projects and studies for Risk Compliance system enhancements.
• Partakes in the coordination of meetings and materials and oversees special projects as directed.
• Enroll, monitor and report all vendors, contractors and 3rd party vendors enrolled in the CTA blanket Railroad Protective Insurance and Art Insurance program. Review and approve all insurance documentation submitted by CTA employees for use of personal vehicles for CTA business.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and experience related to this position.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Requires remaining in a stationary position for extended periods of time and constantly operating a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Service Area Requirement: Exempt (Non-Union) employees must live within the boundaries of the CTA Statutory Service Area either at the time of employment or within 6 months of beginning employment at CTA.
