Job DescriptionThe Coordinator, Human Resources provides support with daily human resources activities/operations, with an emphasis on learning and development, for San Francisco and Silicon Valley administrative staff.
Primary Responsibilities and/or Essential functions:
- Handles day-to-day administrative tasks for the HR team, including but not limited to phone calls, mail, meeting logistics, invoices, expenses reports, scanning and filing.
- Assists with on-boarding, new hire orientation, off-boarding, and maintains employee records.
- Processes data changes in HR Systems related to employee lifecycle (hires, terminations, job changes, organizational updates, personnel changes, PTO, Jury Duty, etc.) and contingent workers.
- Responds to employment verification requests and routine employee questions.
- Administers business skills training seminars, workshops and on-demand courses, including promotion, communication, and tracking. Liaises with external learning vendors.
- Manages the LMS and internal Weil Center for Professional Learning web page.
- Assists with the design and development of talent development programs and initiatives.
- Conducts research, data analysis and reporting as needed.
- Assists with HR and Recruiting programs and events.
- Assists Human Resources Manager, Recruiting Manager and Director of Administration with related projects as needed.
- Any additional responsibilities as required by management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 3+ years HR experience working in a fast-paced professional services environment. Big law preferred.
- Experience with Workday required.
- Ability to work discreetly and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication (written, verbal, and listening), interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision or direction.
- Ability to gather, interpret, analyze and present information clearly and cogently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Education/Certifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
Estimated hourly rate is $43.95 - $49.45 ($80,000- $90,000 annually). This position is overtime and bonus eligible. Compensation decisions within the range are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case including but not limited to the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
