Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00

Academic Year: 26-27

JOB SUMMARY

The NES ARD Facilitator is responsible for coordinating and leading ARD meetings at the campus level to support effective. student-centered special education decision-making. This position manages the ARD process from preparation through facilitation. ensuring that relevant data is reviewed and that eligibility placement , and service decisions appropriately address student needs while aligning with district expectations.

Support the implementation of a district-wide approach to ARD facilitation by coordinating processes and promoting consistent, high-quality decision-making practices across campuses.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree

WORK EXPERIENCE

1 to 3 years, previous experience as a Special Education case manager, Special Education Department Chairperson, Coordinator or campus administrator.

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

Level 1-No supervisory responsibilities. May provide occasional work guidance, technical advice, and training to staff.

WORK COMPLEXITY/INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT

-Work involves the application of moderately complex procedures and tasks that are quite varied. Independent judgment is often required to select and apply the most appropriate of available resources. Ongoing supervision is provided on an "as needed" basis.

-Decisions are made on routine matters affecting few individuals and usually within the confines of the job's own department. Specific job activities and results are typically reviewed closely. There are limited requirements for developing new ideas or changes in methods, procedures, or services.

Errors may be serious, usually not subject to direct verification or check, causing losses such as improper cost calculations, overpayment or improper utilization of labor, materials, or equipment. COMMUNICATION/INTERACTIONS

-Information sharing - gives and receives information such as options, technical direction, instructions, and reporting results. Interactions are mostly with customers, own supervisor, and coworkers in own and other departments.

-Takes routine or required customer actions to meet customer needs. Responds promptly and accurately to customer complaints, inquiries and requests for information and coordinates appropriate follow-up. May handle escalated issues passed on from coworkers or subordinates.

WORKING/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

-Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
