Your future role at a glance

This is a dual-role executive position serving as the hospital Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) with responsibility for both overall operational leadership and nursing strategy. The role partners closely with executive and medical leadership to drive organizational performance, strategic priorities, quality, and patient care across the hospital and broader ministry market.

How you'll make an impact in this role

Formulate and oversee the organization's planning, policies and practices in collaboration with executive leadership as the Ministry COO and as the Chief Nursing Officer leads the Hospital's senior management team in planning, directing and coordinating operations to achieve the health ministry's mission, strategic directives and goals.

  • Participate in development of the organization's vision, policies and short- and long-term objectives.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership and medical staff to identify and develop new patient care programs, policies, procedures, and practice standards for the nursing departments.
  • Develop, implement and monitor operating budgets for areas of responsibility.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and recommend cost effective and efficient solutions.
  • Develop and implement a program to measure, assess and improve the quality of nursing care provided by the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to nursing services and healthcare.
  • Serve as liaison between Board of Directors, executive leadership, management, stakeholders, financial institutions, and regulatory agencies.
