Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering related to Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical.
• 8+ years of experience as a Controls or Automation Engineer.
• 5+ years of experience in control systems engineering in the automotive sector.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with PLC and HMI software, including startup and debugging.
• Knowledge of industrial automation systems, specifically ControlLogix or similar.
• Strong communication skills to support client interactions.
• Willing to travel up to 30% for client needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform control system engineering and design using standardized methods.
• Design and detail electrical control panels for manufacturing systems.
• Write and edit PLC software for Allen-Bradley ControlLogix systems.
• Edit and input programming for operator interface software.
• Conduct startup and debug operations for various control systems.
• Provide technical support during installation of new tools and equipment.
• Assist in training client personnel on control systems and operations.
